What is microblading?
Microblading artist will make tiny microstrokes to implant semi-permanent pigmentation. The small strokes resemble hair and give you eyebrows that shape your eyes in a natural, realistic look. There are two reasons why modern microblading can achieve a more natural look than the tattooed eyebrows of the past – the ink’s iron oxide base, which is also used in other cosmetics, and the depth of the ink implantation, which is done on upper layer of the dermis.
How much does it cost?
Microblading is $450 and up
Microblading with shading is $500
Quoted costs include the second appointment at six to eight weeks following your initial treatment.
If you decide to pursue a microblading treatment following your complimentary consultation, a nonrefundable deposit of $200 is due to set up the appointment.
What happens at the consultation?
During your complimentary consultation, we will visit with you to understand your expectations and help you understand the process and results possible through microblading. This initial visit will allow both our microblade artist and you to be on the same page in terms of eyebrow shape and color and achieving the best results.
What is the process?
Shaping eyebrows correctly is the foundation to getting perfect eyebrows. Using what is called the golden ratio of your facial features and some measuring, we draw the perfectly shaped eyebrows for your face directly on your skin for you to see.
A topical anesthetic is applied with a special technique. Most clients experience little or no discomfort during the procedure.
Following the procedure, you may experience some slight redness, swelling, itching and tenderness, which is a normal process when the skin has been disturbed and then begins healing. No water, creams or makeup are allowed on the brow while it heals. We will cover additional care instructions and tips with you, as well.
Are follow-up appointments needed?
To ensure you achieve the best results, a second appointment is scheduled six to eight weeks after your initial procedure to review any needed touch-ups and further care.
Future touch-ups may be needed months later to keep vibrant results as the color fades. Depending on your lifestyle and skin type, microblading results can last up to three years before the procedure needs to be repeated.
